Bringing a Dog Into the U.S. – New Rules as of August 1, 2024
If you are bringing a dog to the U.S., starting on August 1, 2024, there are new steps you need to take. These steps depend on where your dog has been in the past 6 months.
What to Expect at a Veterinary Appointment
Knowing what you should expect from your first veterinary appointment will help to make this process more pleasant for both you and your pet.
Get Settled
All of our clients will need to fill out our New Patient Form when they arrive at our office. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete the necessary paperwork.
Meet Your Veterinarian
A member of our veterinary team will walk through your pet's medical history with you and discuss any issues they may be experiencing. This is your chance to ask any questions you may have and our vets will be sure to dedicate time to answering them.
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment
Once your pet has been assessed, we will provide you with a diagnosis and options for treatment. Your veterinarian will work with you to determine a treatment plan for your pet.
